Alex J. "Bud" Davidson, 91, of Rural Valley, passed away on January 1, 2018 at Margaret Manor.

He was born on September 30, 1926 to Alex Joseph, Sr. and Ella (Lamison) Davidson in Kittanning, PA. Alex worked as a Custodian for Armstrong School District.

He was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church - Yatesboro and American Legion Cosgrove Post 523. Alex was a WW II veteran serving in the Army.

Alex is survived by his son - Joseph (Vickie) Davidson of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter - Carolyn (Thomas) Maffei of Rural Valley; Brother - Grant (Kay) Davidson of Rural Valley; two sisters - Delores Arduini of Rural Valley and Lois Kepple of Chicora; three grandsons - Matt (Amber) Davidson, Chris (Lindsay) Davidson, and Justin Maffei; granddaughter - Christina (Beau) Mullins; four great-grandchildren - Myles and Meredith Davidson and Cooper and Tensley Mullins.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; wife - Mae M. (Arduini) Davidson, whom died April 19, 2004; brother - Jack Davidson; and 2 sisters - Alberta Lemmon and Anna Mary Hooks.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, 10:00 am at St. Mary, Mother of God Church - Yatesboro with Fr. Medil S. Aseo, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Mary R.C. Cemetery, Yatesboro.
