Carolyn Jean Crabtree, 82, of Kittanning, passed away on August 26, 2017 at the ACMH Hospital.

She was born on April 21, 1935 to James and Gladys (Kornhoff) Sills in Cumberland, MD. On July 5, 1953 she married Thomas Donald Crabtree. They moved to Rural Valley in 1975. Carolyn enjoyed attending Harvest Community Church, scrap booking, holiday decorating, word searches, spending time with her family and babysitting.

Carolyn is survived by her husband - Thomas Donald Crabtree; 3 sons - Tommy, Ronnie (Joyce), and James "JD" (Cheryl); 2 daughters - Carolyn "Dee Dee" (Cliff) and Stephanie (Damien); 12 grandchildren - Aimee, Misty, Staley, Samantha, Shantelle, Jessica, April, Carissa, Josh, Christian, Evan and Dylan; 10 great-grandchildren - Jazzmin, Emma, Tommy, Alliynh, Bailey, Addison, Nevaeh, Sophia, Lucas and Jaxton; brother - Ronnie; and sister - Linda.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; son - Johnny; and daughter - Donnette.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Giddings, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
