H. Scott Coulter, 83 of Dayton, PA, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in ACMH Hospital.

He was born May 27, 1928 in Brackenridge, PA, Son of the late Stanley E. and Helen C. (Moore) Coulter.

He was a member of Rural Valley American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, the Steelers and most of all spending time with his family.

He worked as a Foreman at Penn Dot - Kittanning and was a Farmer.

Surviving are 1 Son - David Coulter and wife Carla of Dayton, PA; 2 Daughters - Beverley Cordella and husband Nick of Pittsboro, NC and Louann Coulter of Asheboro, NC; and 4 Grandchildren - Scott, Mike, Robert and Hannah, .

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean E. (Leister) Coulter, whom passed away June 27, 2009, His Parents and 1 Brother - William Coulter.

Friends will be received 1-4, Sunday, December 18 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Herb Reefer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
