RACHEL M. COOK

Rachel M. Cook, 89, of Rural Valley, PA, died Saturday February 19, 2011 in ACMH Hospital.

She wasborn March 31, 1921 in Cadogan, PA, Daughter of the late Silvio, Sr. and Leopolda (Zambotti) Frieri.

She was a Homemaker. She enjoyed baking and cooking, but most of all, she loved being a Mother and Grandmother.

Surviving are 3 Sons, Raymond Borkoski and wife Jackie of Ford City, PA, Joe Cook, Jr. and wife Cindy of Margaret, PA and Mark Cook of Vandergrift, PA,; 2 Daughters, Sylvia Boyer and husband Larry of St. Clairsville, OH, and Mary Kaplon and husband James of Kittanning, PA; 10 Grandchildren - Joe and Jeff Borkoski, Jason (Liz) and Justin Cook, Kathy Jo Scrips (Cory), Jamie (Chrissy) and Adam (Lisa) Boyer, Karli (Brian) Myers, Brian and Craig Kaplon; 12 Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother, David Frieri and wife Wanda of Kittanning, PA and 1 Sister Mary Ann Reale of Ford City, PA.

She was preceded in death by her First Husband - James Borkoski, Second Husband -Joe Hall Cook, Sr., Her Parents; 2 Sisters - Lillian Russick and Emma Oresick and 1 Brother - Silvio Frieri, Jr..

Friends will be received Tuesday February 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main Street Rural Valley, PA.

Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Yatesboro, Wednesday February 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Blout officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery.
