Sonja Glee Connell, 74, of Yatesboro, passed away on March 9, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born on October 30, 1942 to Hartzell and Elizabeth (Moore) Morrow in Mosgrove, PA. Sonja worked in Private Home Health Care.

She was a member the former Yatesboro Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the Casino.

Sonja is survived by her three sons - Frederick (Heather) Connell, Jr. of Brackenridge, Ronald Connell of Kittanning, and Tim (Billie) Connell of Dayton, PA; 8 grandchildren - Brandon, Lauren, Jacob, Adam, Kaden, Addison, Easton, and Willow Connell; 2 great-grandchildren - Marley Connell and Daniel "Max" Cousins, Jr; twin sister - Sandy (Joe) Brena of Pittsburgh; and brother - Larry (Karen) Morrow of Ford City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Frederick C. "Red" Connell, Sr., whom died Nov. 3, 2013; 4 Brothers - Robert, Richard, William, and Charles Morrow; 2 sisters - Vera Boggs and Janet Gearhart.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 12, 2017, 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017, 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Lamison, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
