SARA (TOPIC) CHRISTOFF

Sara (Topic) Christoff, 100, of Rural Valley, passed away on December 1, 2017 at St. Andrew's Village, which was her second home and extended family.

She was born on April 3, 1917 to Mike and Helen () Topic in Beyer, PA. Sara was the Owner/Operator of the famous Rural Valley Bakery. She was a member of Macedonian Society.

Sara is survived by her son - Mitchell (Jean) Christoff; two daughters - Catherine (Thomas) Krizmanich and Lillian (Robert) Emerick, all of Rural Valley; brother - Edward Topic of Detroit, MI; 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Thomas Christoff, whom died in 1974; and son - Danny Christoff.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017, 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Howard, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Macedonian Orthodox Cemetery, Ford City.

In lieu in of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Village or VNA Hospice of Indiana.
