HELEN J. BRUMBAUGH

Helen J. Brumbaugh, 81, of Homer City died Thursday, September 1, 2011 in Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 9, 1930 in Cadogan, PA, Daughter of the late Walter and Loyola (Eckert) Troup.

She was a member of the International Society of Poets Society and worked as a Practical Nurse.

Surviving are 3 Sons - James W. Guthrie, Jr. and wife Michele of Ford City, PA, Gerald W. Bowser of Homer City, PA and Kenneth R. Bowser of Homer City, PA; 2 Step-Sons - C. Raymond Brumbaugh and wife Susi of Apache Junction, AZ and Roger Brumbaugh of Dayton, PA; 5 Step-Daughters - Minnie Cordwell and husband Norman of Summerville, PA, Donna Jean Shearer, AZ, Doris Cordwell and husband William of Summerville, PA, Vivian Brumbaugh of Indiana, PA and Margaret Brumbaugh of Sarver, PA; Brother - Walter Troup and wife Cindy of Shelocta, PA; 2 Sisters - Anna Mae Kellerman, RI and Karen Delp of Cadogan, PA and Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. All will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark H. Brumbaugh. DOD 3/17/2002, Her Parents and 3 Sisters - Thelma Berley, Edna Miller and Geneviene.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday, September 6 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM

Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates, .
