He was born March 6, 1934 in Cowanshannock Twp. Armstrong Co., Son of the late George C. Brown, Sr. and the late Rosella Margaret (Pardee) Brown.

He was a member of Keystone Sportsmens Club.

He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for PA Dept. of Transportation- Kittanning .

Surviving are 3 Sons, Kirby L. Brown and Companion Colleen Ambrose of Amherst, OH, Douglas A. Brown and wife Debbie of Atwood, PA, N. Michael Brown and wife Stacy of Indiana, PA, 2 Daughters, Pamela D. Brown-Yohman and husband Jeffrey of Greensburg, PA and Sandra L. Boyer and husband Donald of Bay City, TX, 6 Grandchildren, Shawn, Christopher, Erica, Olivia, Greg, and Jennifer, 3Great-Granddaughters , Morgan, Haley and Taylor, .

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. Brown - DOD 8/27/2005, Parents, 1 Brother- George Brown, Jr. 1 Sister Lois Brown.

Friends will be received 9:30 to 11:00 Tuesday at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Craig Lindahl officiating.

Interment will follow in the Atwood Cemetery, Atwood, PA.
