DAVID NEAL BOYER

David Neal Boyer, 74, of Rural Valley,(Plumcreek Twp.) passed away on August 8, 2017 at UPMC Montifiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born on December 22, 1942 to Ralph Earl and Wilda Gertrude (Hawkins) Boyer in Cowanshannock Twp. David worked as a Logger and Sawmill Owner. He also worked Heavy Construction with the Operating Engineers Local #66.

He enjoyed hunting groundhogs with his friends and riding his John Deere Gator. David faithfully attended Harvest Baptist Church - Natrona Heights.

David is survived by his wife Judith (Swan) Boyer, whom he married 11/28/1970; son - Scott (Colleen) Boyer of Rural Valley; daughter - Wendy (Jeff) Kaminski of Butler; Brother - Blaine Lloyd (Linda) Boyer of Rural Valley; Sister-in-Law - Judy Boyer of Rural Valley; Brother-in-Law - David (Jeannie) Swan of GA; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother - Earl Boyer; 2 sisters - Grace Crossman and Evelyn Jean George.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 11, 2017, 2- 4 & 7- 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017, 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Senior Pastor Marc Likins, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Paul's Cemetery, Rural Valley.
