BETTY J. BOYER MILLIRON

Betty J. Boyer Milliron, 94, of Kittanning, passed away on October 22, 2017 at Newhaven Court, Butler.

She was born on May 25, 1923 to Harry Heilman and Sarah Emma (Pollock) Walker in Kittanning, PA. Betty worked as a Secretary for the Armstrong School District. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Rural Valley and Attended the First Baptist Church of Kittanning. She also served many years as the secretary of Kit-Han-Ne Rock and Gem Club and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Kittanning.

Betty is survived by her three sons - Allen C. (Bernie) Boyer of Mayville, NY, Charles E. Boyer of Rural Valley, PA and Dennis (Vicky) Boyer of Sarasota, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Kenneth R. Milliron; brother, Ray Walker; and a sister - Harriett Jones.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 2-4 & 6-9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017, 11:00 am at the First Lutheran Church - Rural Valley with Mr. Ralph Kilgore, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
