Marylee Blystone, 77, of Yatesboro, passed away on January 9, 2018 at West Penn Hospital - Pittsburgh.

She was born on May 4, 1940 to H. Roy and Ellen Almeda (Hill) Harkleroad in Sagamore, PA. She graduated from Shannock Valley High School and Hocking Technical College in Ohio. Marylee also attended Ohio University. Marylee was a Registered Nurse for the Armstrong Co. Health Center. She was their training coordinator.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Kittanning.

Marylee is survived by her husband James Blystone, whom she married 12/5/2008; son - Timothy (Wanda Hudnell) Hastings of Athens, OH; daughter - Mary Ann (Mikey) Rosser of Athens, OH; two grandsons - Timothy (Michelle) Hastings II and Mickey Rosser, Jr.; three granddaughters - Kimberly (Greg Taylor) Hastings, Kristen Post and Lacy (Nick) Wolfe; 16 Step Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, Numerous Step Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband - Rev. David V. Hastings, who died 11/29/2005; brother - Donald and Shirley Harkleroad; and daughter-in-law - Sharon Hastings.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Sawyer and Pastor Forest States, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Harkleroad Cemetery.
