EMMA JOSEPHINE BESTVINA (TALLERI)

Emma Josephine Bestvina (Talleri) 89, died March 27, 2019 in Vernon Hills, IL where she lived for the past nine years. 

Born September 23, 1929 in Yatesboro, PA, she was the daughter of Peter & Anna Talleri of Yatesboro, PA. Emma was married to William "Bill" Bestvina (Valier, PA) on May 7, 1949 at St Mary, Mother of God church in Yatesboro, PA. Bill Bestvina preceded her death on May 14, 2010.

Surviving children are Ed, Denise DeDecker, Annette Sutila and Marianne Keith. Her son, William "Larry", preceded her death on December 18, 2012.

Emma has two living siblings, Peter (Butler, PA) and Phyllis Holt (Myrtle Beach, SC). She was preceded in death by her brothers Sebastian (Buster), Joe and by her sisters Augusta Doctor, Nancy Ness, Adeline Buffone and Marianne Buffone.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at 9 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 AM from St Mary, Mother of God Church, Yatesboro with Rev. Douglas Dorula officiating. Burial will be immediately after at St Mary's R.C. cemetery in Yatesboro, PA.
