NORMAN W. BEERS

Norman W. Beers, 76, of Dayton, Wayne Twp. passed away on April 8, 2018 at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo.

He was born on August 9, 1941 to Raymond and Genevieve (Avey) Beers at Mansfield, OH. Norman worked as an Auto Body Repairman at Curly Moore Chevrolet in Rural Valley.

He was a member of the Church of God, International in Cranberry, PA. Norman liked to camp, travel and tinker in his garage.

Norman is survived by his two sons - Robert "Bob" Beers of Indian Springs, NV and Daniel (Laura) Beers of Dayton, PA; two daughters - Judie (Brad) Dullum of Brodhead, WI and Brenda (Stan) Bailey of Parker, PA; 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife - Shirley A. Beers, whom died Feb. 6, 2009; son - Mark Beers; daughter-in-law - Shirley Beers; and brother - Elden Beers.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018, 11:00 am at the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church with Pastor Sheila Wadding, Pastor Ed Szalankiewicz officiating.

Burial will take place in the Glade Run Presbyterian Cemetery, Dayton.
