RICHARD DODSON BARRETT

Richard Dodson Barrett, 85 of Dayton, PA, died Friday, August 19, 2011 in Clarion Hospital.

He was born December 13, 1925 in Wayne Twp., Son of the late Russell and Lucille (Wadding) Barrett.

He was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Yatesboro.

He worked as a Farmer and Coal Truck Driver.

Surviving are his wife, Agatha (Hancherick) Barrett, whom he married Sept. 4, 1954,; 2 Sons - Richard Alan Barrett of Dayton and James Robert Barrett of Houston, TX; 1 Daughter - Linda Lucille Day of Reynoldsville; 2 Brothers - William E. Barrett of Smicksburg and Russell R. Barrett of Dayton; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Son -Kenneth Ross Barrett; 1 - Brother- Edwarrd Barrett and 1 Sister- Maxine Bucko.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Sunday, August 21 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Monday, August 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Daniel L. Bount officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Yatesboro, Yatesboro, PA 16263.
