Terry R. Altmeyer, 56, of Kittanning (Cowanshannock Twp.), passed away on December 17, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on June 27, 1962 to William and Ruth (Wissinger) Altmeyer in Indiana, PA. Terry worked as a Entrepreneur.

Terry trained and owned harness race horses @ Altmeyer Farm and Stable. He also loved listening to "The Ramone's".

Terry is survived by his wife Laura (Schoeffel) Altmeyer; mother - Ruth Altmeyer; son - Tyler (Amanda) Altmeyer; daughter - Megan (Ken Oiler) Altmeyer; granddaughter - Allison Altmeyer; four brothers - William E. Altmeyer, Jr., Daniel J. Altmeyer, Robert M. Altmeyer and Thomas E. Altmeyer; step-son - Nicholas Johnston; step-daughter - Katie (Jory) Melik; step-grandsons - Bryce and Maximus Melik; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father - William E. Altmeyer, Sr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018, 5 - 8 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 8 PM.
