Jeanne Carolyn Reefer, 85 of NuMine, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, January 29, 2012 at her residence.

She was born November 8, 1926 in Plumcreek Twp., Daughter of the late Carl and Grayce (Aikins) Reichle.

She was a member of the NuValley Presbyterian Church, Rural Valley. He was part of the Thursday morning Bible Study and was a regular at Church.

She was the former owner of Reefer's Market, NuMine.

Surviving are 4 Sons - Herb C. Reefer (Constance) of Kittanning, PA, Berton W. Reefer (Darlene) of Dayton, PA, Ronnie E. Reefer of NuMine, PA and Kenneth M. Reefer (Connie) of Dayton, PA; 3 Daughters - Carolyn G. Pinkerton (Gary)of NuMine, PA, Bernice J. Hill of Dayton, PA and Robin M. Atkinson (Will) of Rural Valley, PA; 1 Step-Son, Paul Reefer of Somerset, PA; 2 Step-Daughters - Laura R. Watson of Dillsburg, PA and Sandra Beckert of Dillsburg, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Miles Reefer, whom passed away April 7, 1979, Her Parents, 1 Infant Daughter - Kathy Ann Reefer, 1 Sister - Mary Grace Meyer, 1 Step-Son - Raymond Reefer and 1 Step-Daughter Mary Steffy; 15 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.

Friends will be received 6-8 Monday and 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at the Former NuMine Presbyterian Church (now NuMine Bible Fellowship) at 11:00 AM with Pastor Herb Reefer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Atwood Cemetery, Atwood, PA.
